Step 1: I’m Delicate, handle with care.

Check the care label before washing and ironing, and set your machine to the appropriate temperature. Only iron a freshly washed shirt to avoid the heat setting in any stains.

Step 2: Preparation is Key.

Preparation is key for ironing. Remove collar stiffners before ironing, and make sure all buttons are undone.

Step 3: The Method.

Collar under and outer > Yoke > Shoulders > Cuff > Sleeves > Body. Iron quickly so as not to burn or scorch the fabric, it is best to iron when the shirt is still slightly damp.

Step 4: After Care.

Make sure to hang your shirt after ironing. Hang shirts with top button closed, and with plenty of space around it to prevent crushing.
